Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-06-05T01:25Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-06-05T01:25:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: This CME has a brighter narrower bulk with a wider fainter shock seen to the east. No clear source found on the Earth-facing disk, however there are two potential sources: a very slow movement of field line beyond the east limb going on after 2024-06-04T20Z (which is far too early) or a similar slow movement of a field line beyond the sourtheast limb starting at 2024-06-05T01:20Z. Both movements are seen in AIA 193 and 335.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Only POS analysis is definitive since the source is not seen on the Earth-facing disk and the possible source (movement of field line) could be on or far behind the east limb. The fit with two coronagraphs gives a wide range of longitudes (at least from -90 to -125 degrees). |
